Founded Minneapolis Software in 1983. Designed and developed Preventative Maintenance and Work Order software for large facilities and corporate headquarters. Sales of the maintenance software package have exceeded $2,000,000. Clients include: MetroDome, Xcel Center, American Family Insurance, Federal Reserve Banks, Wells Fargo, and many property management companies.

US Recordings • St Paul, MN 1984 - 2004
Designed and developed a mortgage and related document filing system. The application included over 100 data tables. Key system components were work flow, reliability, and quality check points. Key software components were document tracking, pricing fees for all 3,500 US counties, exception handling, MICR check writing, bar coding, UPS shipment consolidation, sorting returned documents by client, and accounts receivable. US Recordings has used this system to record over two million mortgages. Supervised a small IT department.
